Before registering for a thesis course, students in the third year of their program must submit an application to their program director by March 30:
- Undergraduate Honours Thesis Application Form (Biology, Forensic Science, Mathematics, Physics and Physical Science)
- Chemistry Undergraduate Honours Thesis Application Form
- Computer Science Undergraduate Thesis Application Form
Applications will be forwarded to potential supervisors who will decide on the students they will accept as project students. Most faculty don’t take more than two projects students per year, so limited spots are available.
Once decisions have been made, the program director will notify you if you have been accepted so you can register for the appropriate course in the following semester. Once registered, you will meet with your supervisor. He or she will confirm the thesis project and develop a strategy and timetable for the project's successful completion.
