Undergraduate
Innovative programs with state-of-the-art facilities
UOIT's leading-edge learning environment allows students to connect
with their professors and peers anytime, anywhere - and puts them one
step ahead as soon as they graduate. At UOIT, students collaborate with
their professors in the lab, the classroom, and the field turning
innovative ideas into real solutions. The Faculty of Science is electric with change: new programs, new opportunities, new faculty.
All undergraduate programs are Honours programs. Our programs contain unique undergraduate program specializations including
Digital Forensics,
Digital Media,
Energy and the Environment, and
Forensic Physics. The first two
programs are specializations within our
Computing Science program, and
the last two are specializations within our
Physics program.
Our new
co-operative education program provide our students with the opportunity
to apply skills in a workplace setting with industry, business,
and government. Our
international exchange
programs provide undergraduate students in Physics an
opportunity to study at the University of Leipzig in Germany or the
University of Turin in Italy, and students in Forensic Science an opportunity to study at the Curtin University of Technology in Australia.
All our programs are supported by state-of-the art laboratories and
classrooms. These include a leading edge aquatic toxicology laboratory
and advanced high-performance computing infrastructure. Some of the
laboratory equipment is so new that it is not used by students at other
universities until graduate school!
